Miftah assures PTEA all issues to be resolved

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail directed relevant authorities to take appropriate measures for resolving issues being faced by exporters especially related to exports and tax refunds.

Meeting with delegation of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) led by its Patron in Chief Khurram Mukhtar he assured that government wants to enhance overall exports of country and every possible support will be provided in this regard. He minister directed relevant authorities to take appropriate steps for resolving issues. Meeting apprised Finance Minister about contribution of export textile sector in overall sustainable economic growth of country.

They discussed about various issues being faced by exporters especially related to exports and tax refunds. Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Dr. Aisha Ghous Pasha, Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Masood Malik, Muhammad Asim Nazir MNA, Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Coordinator to PM on economy Bilal Azhar Kiyani also attended meeting. Chairman PTEA Sohail Pasha, Secretary General PTEA Azizullah Goheer and other senior officers from Finance division also attended.
