KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon chairing meetings with officials of Education Department and Sindh Olympic Association said that all educational institutions and sports organisations should make January 29 National Bank-Commissioner Karachi marathon historic being organised at Nishan Pakistan Sea View Clifton.

We should send message to world that Karachi is peaceful and sports-loving city and it is evident of New Zealand cricket team tour where citizens of Karachi welcomed New Zealand team. He appealed citizens to reach landmark Pakistan Sea View Clifton on January 29 and participate in this history-making marathon.

Education Department and Sindh Olympic Association informed Commissioner about arrangements made so far for January 29 event. All routes to Karachi will go to Pakistan Sea View Clifton. Additional Deputy Commissioner South Tabriz Murree, Assistant Commissioner General Abid Qamar Sheikh Coordinator Sports Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Coordinator Khalid Jameel Shamsi, NBP Junaid Ahmed Khan, Secretary Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Rajput, Asghar Baloch, Muhammad Aslam Mithu and others were present.
