OGRA rejects speculations about diesel, petrol shortage

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) rejected speculations about shortage of diesel and petrol in country. “Sufficient stocks of petrol and diesel are available across country,” OGRA spokesman Imran Ghaznavi clarified in press statement.

He said country has sufficient petrol and diesel stocks for meeting needs of 18 and 37 days respectively.

“Furthermore, ships carrying 101,000MT petrol is at berth/outer anchorage,” spokesman added. Imran Ghzanavi said local refineries were playing their due role in meeting demand for petroleum products.
