Karachi: Consul General of Sultanate of Oman Karachi, Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari said that award ceremony on behalf of Star Chef is good effort, came here to see different Pakistani food, Pakistani food is tasty, in Oman. Pakistani food is also available in some hotels. Talking to media on participating as special guest in Pakistan Culinary Summit 2023 and Star Chef Award ceremony at local hotel Consul General said, “I congratulate organisers, chef is profession in which men and women can earn decent living and provide for their families. Seeing that people are adopting cooking sector in large numbers”. Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain said that main objective of organising award is to promote image of Pakistan and to show that Pakistan is country of peaceful, friendly, creative and talented people and to showcase their exceptional talent.

Sindh Food Authority Head Chef Muqim Soomro, Rescue Commissioner Tahir Sheikh and others participated in event. Awards and certificates were distributed among attendees.
