Pakistani bodybuilders depart for IFBB Asian Championship in Bishkek

LAHORE: National bodybuilding team on Thursday departed for Bishkek to participate in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Asian Championship 2022.  According to the details, the Pakistani contingent, comprising 10 bodybuilders, five officials and a staff member, left for the Asian Championship scheduled from September 2 to 5 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Pakistani bodybuilders will compete in more than 14 categories at the event. Speaking on the occasion, the president of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) Tariq Pervez stated that the athletes had prepared well for the event while expressing optimism that they will bring a gold medal home. Meanwhile, secretary PBBF urged the nation to pray for the success of the national athletes in the event.
