Pakistan's cricket team has been facing a significant decline in performance, particularly in the Champions Trophy.

The team's struggles have raised concerns among fans, experts, and former players. One of the key factors contributing to this decline is the management and leadership of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In this article, we will examine the role of PCB and its committee, especially Mohsin Naqvi, and how his dual roles may be impacting the team's performance.

We will also discuss Shahid Afridi's advice to Mohsin Naqvi, emphasizing the need for him to focus on one role. The PCB, led by Mohsin Naqvi, has been under scrutiny for its management and decision-making. Naqvi, who is also the head of the Interim Management Committee, has been criticized for his handling of the team.  Many experts believe that his dual roles are distracting him from focusing on the team's performance.

Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistan captain, has publicly advised Naqvi to adopt a single role, allowing him to concentrate on the team's management.Afridi's advice is not without merit.  With Naqvi holding two positions, there is a clear conflict of interest. His responsibilities as the head of the Interim Management Committee may be taking away from his focus on the team's performance. This lack of focus has resulted in poor decision-making, which has ultimately affected the team's results. The PCB's management has been criticized for its lack of transparency and accountability. The board's decisions, such as the selection of players and coaching staff, have been questioned by many.

The team's performance in the Champions Trophy has been disappointing, and many believe that the PCB's management is responsible for this decline. One of the main issues with the PCB's management is its lack of experience and expertise. Many of the board members, including Naqvi, do not have a background in cricket. This lack of experience has resulted in poor decision-making, which has ultimately affected the team's performance.Another issue with the PCB's management is its lack of transparency.  The board's decisions are often made behind closed doors, without any input from the public or the media. This lack of transparency has resulted in a lack of accountability, which has ultimately affected the team's performance. To improve the team's performance, the PCB needs to make significant changes to its management and leadership. One of the first steps would be to appoint a new chairman who has a background in cricket.  This would ensure that the board's decisions are made with the best interests of the team in mind.Another step would be to increase transparency and accountability within the board.

This could be achieved by holding regular press conferences and making the board's decisions public. This would ensure that the public and the media are aware of the board's decisions and can hold them accountable. In conclusion, Pakistan's cricket team is facing a significant decline in performance, and the PCB's management is a major contributing factor.  Mohsin Naqvi's dual roles as the head of the Interim Management Committee and the chairman of the PCB are distracting him from focusing on the team's performance. Shahid Afridi's advice to Naqvi to adopt a single role is well-founded, and the PCB needs to make significant changes to its management and leadership to improve the team's performance. The PCB needs to prioritize transparency, accountability, and experience in its management and leadership. By doing so, the board can ensure that the team's decisions are made with the best interests of the team in mind, and the team can return to its former glory.

The fans, the media, and the public are eagerly waiting for the PCB to take the necessary steps to improve the team's performance. Only time will tell if the PCB will take the necessary steps to restore Pakistan's cricket team to its former glory.
