This will be PM Shehbaz Sharif’s first visit to China since assuming office in April 2022 and follows his meeting with President Xi Jinping in Uzbekistan on September 16, 2022.

He will be among first leaders to visit China following historic 20th National Congress of Communist Party (CPC) of China that elected Xi Jinping as general secretary of party. A high-level delegation will accompany prime minister, PM Office said in a statement.
