President, military leaders discuss country’s security situation

ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi called on military leadership to discuss country’s detail security challenges and national and international security situation. Meeting between President Alvi and military leadership was held in President House. According to Presidnet House, meeting was held after award distribution ceremoney to honour high military officals for their distinguish services in field. Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Zaheer-ud-Din Babar and Chief of Neval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi were present during meeting.

Detailed discussion was held on country’s national and internal sercurity and challenges in meeting. Armed Forces operational and professional affairs were also discussed in meeting, Online reported. President paid tribute to martyred official and said they are our real heros. Their blood will not go in vien. Consensus among all stakeholder is neccesarry to pull out country from challenges, President added.
