Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori congratulated people on Eid-ul-Adha. He said that following Sunnah of Ibrahim (A.S), we sacrifice animals every year in path of Allah, but we should not forget people who have no means. One of major reasons is inflation, that’s why sacrifice of 100 camels has been organised in Governor’s House. Meat will be distributed among deserving and needy people. They are people entitled to be given meat.

Governor said that Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) by obeying Allah command was set to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail (A.S). He set golden example of obeying Allah’s commands. Governor said that if we mold ourselves in light of Sunnah Ibrahimi, we can definitely succeed in establishing welfare society in this century.

Pakistan came into existence as result of great sacrifices of Muslims. To make it stable, strong, prosperous and Islamic welfare state, we have to try to remove all differences. He said that entire nation condemned events of May 9 and proved that any conspiracy against country’s security and stability will not be allowed to succeed.

Meanwhile, Governor will offer Eid-ul-Adha prayers at Gulshan Jinnah (Old Polo Ground) at 8am toady. Later, he will meet political and social personalities and people.

Moreover, Governor distributed cards of Unity Foods Ration Bags under Powerful Pakistan Programme to needy. It should be noted Governor is brand ambassador of Powerful Pakistan programme. Ration bags will be distributed to needy for 6 months. He appealed to philanthropists to fully support this programme.

Governor distributed goats among orphans at Governor House. Free goats are being provided to 100 orphans on Eid-ul-Azha on behalf of Governor. He said that aim of this initiative is to make such children and their families to enjoy Eid.
