Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori along with Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab visited parts of city. They visited Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and met patients and caretakers. Medical Superintendent, doctors and officers gave them detailed briefing on hospital matters. Governor said that Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is one of biggest hospitals in city being visited by area residents as well as across city and Sindh.

He said, “I am shocked that Operation Theater is not working properly while other departments are also not properly fixed”. Issues of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital should be resolved by talking to people in authority on priority, he suggested.  He said that when I spoke to Murtaza Wahab, he immediately responded and wanted to fix hospital issues.  During meeting with Medical Superintendent Tessori assured that issues will be solved on priority while administrator Karachi also assured Hospital of resolving problems.

In response to a question, Governor said, “Governor like Mola Jat will do work.” Murtaza Wahab said that they will work together for development of city, efforts will be made to solve problems of Hospital. Meanwhile, Tessori visited Old Age Home North Karachi run under JDC. He reviewed various departments of Old Age Home. JDC Chief Zafar Abbas informed him regarding Home. Governor said that JDC is doing valuable services for humanity. I like work of supporting destitute and elderly people in second Old Age Home North Karachi and I wish to build an old age home, I will request children of destitute and elderly people to take their elderly people to homes and serve them. Elderly are charm of house, it is necessary to benefit from their experiences. 

Zafar Abbas told that a hospital is also being constructed on Super Highway. Modern health facilities will be provided in said hospital, while 9 dialysis and 3 IT centres are also established in under JDC.
