Terrorists and their facilitators active again

“Terrorists and their facilitators have nothing to do with religion and ideology".  They are the enemies of Pakistan and its people. Terrorist attacks on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal show the nefarious intentions of these terrorists, who have foreign support for terrorism.

The next day, on Saturday, Army Chief General Asim Munir, in a briefing on the occasion of his visit to the provincial capital, Quetta, categorically expressed his position on the growing terrorism in Pakistan that terrorists are the tools of external state powers hostile to Pakistan.

The Army Chief stated that the armed forces, intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies will not rest until the scourge of terrorism is eradicated from the country.

The Caretaker Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, who was present at the briefing given to the Army Chief, later in a press conference, claimed with great confidence that the Indian secret agency RAW was involved in all the incidents of terrorism in Balochistan. Daesh, banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, whatever you call them, they are all one for us, they are all being handled from one place, all the incidents that have happened before, Indian intelligence agency RAW is behind them all.  The caretaker federal interior minister also pointed out the important aspect of fresh terrorism in Mastung, which shows the new side of terrorism, that this is the first incident of terrorism in the procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi in Balochistan, while before this, the Hazara community has been the target of such attacks.  Both the Army Chief and the Caretaker Federal Interior Minister have talked about the involvement of foreign hands in terrorism with such precision, it cannot be done without the presence of solid evidence. Strong evidences of links between terrorist elements from Afghanistan, including the banned TTP, to the Indian agency have also come to light.  In the past, evidence of terrorist activities carried out by terrorists in Pakistan with the help of the Indian intelligence agency has been exposed by the international community.  In December 2020, the government of Pakistan submitted a dossier in this regard to the Secretary General of the United Nations and it proved impossible for India to deny it.

Pakistan should take decisive action against terrorists inside the country and keep the international community constantly aware of the facts. After the definite evidence of the involvement of Indian institutions in the killing of the leader of the Khalistan movement in Canada came to light, the heinous role of India in relation to terrorism around the world was exposed.

Now, it has certainly become easier to show to the world the real face of India. Therefore, it is necessary to make full use of this opportunity to bring India's state role in terrorism in Pakistan to the world and demand action from the international organizations against it. While the Afghan Interim Government should also be made clear in a reasonable manner that effective measures should be taken to prevent Afghan soil from being used against Pakistan, otherwise Pakistan will protect its land and its people from terrorism. Anyone will be free to take steps to protect themselves.

In Balochistan's Mastung district, 52 people were martyred and dozens were injured in a suicide attack on those who had gathered to express love and devotion on the birthday of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The terrorist act as well as the bomb blasts in a mosque in Hangu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the martyrdoms of Pakistan Army and police personnel in the operations of Pakistan Army against terrorists in Para Chinar and Mardan have left the entire nation in deep pain and suffering.

This rapid increase in terrorist activities is an open challenge to the present government, military leadership and the entire nation and successfully dealing with it is an indispensable requirement of our national security.

According to media reports, at least 52 people, including DSP Mastung Nawaz Gashguri, were killed and more than 60 were injured in a suicide blast in the procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi in Mastung.  It was done among the people who had gathered outside the Madinah Mosque for the Milad-ul-Nabi procession.

On the other hand, the details of the terrorist incident in Hangu show that 5 people were killed and 12 injured in suicide blasts during Friday prayers in the police station mosque in Tehsil Doaba. The suicide bomber was killed at the gate of the police station, while two policemen were also injured. However, another terrorist entered the police station and blew himself up in the mosque.

The reason for the death and injuries of the worshipers has been said to be the roof of the mosque collapsing due to the explosion. According to the details of the operations against the terrorists in Mardan and Parachinar, there was an exchange of fire between the terrorists and the security forces in two operations on the night of September 28 and 29.  In an operation carried out in the urban area of Katlang district of Mardan, the most wanted leader of a dangerous terrorist group named Faisal was killed. There was also an exchange of fire with terrorists in Para Chinar area of Kurram district, in which 33-year-old Lance Naik was martyred.

Earlier, ISPR had also informed that four soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists of banned TTP who were trying to infiltrate from Afghanistan in Zhob area of Balochistan.  The increase in the activities of terrorists, including the bloodshed of Mastung and Hangu, the news of which is coming to the fore day by day, shows that once again the national consensus against this mischief has developed and  an operation like the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Operation Radal-ul-Fasaad Action has become inevitable.  There is a comprehensive program to deal with terrorism in the form of National Action Plan and necessary amendments and additions can be made in it as per the situation. The need of the hour is that the caretaker federal and provincial governments and the entire political and military leadership of the country should come together to bury the monster of terrorism forever and establish a workable strategy for the complete restoration of law and order in the shortest possible time.  It should be organized because without it neither our economy can come out of the crisis nor political stability in the country is possible. A formal agreement with the Afghan government to control the TTP should also be considered.
