APCAA felicitates Zia-ul-Haq sarhadi on Sitara-e-Imtiaz

KARACHI: The Chairman of All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA), Mr. Arshad Khurshid, along with senior leader Mr. Qamar ul Islam, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, Senior Executive Member of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), on being conferred with Pakistan’s prestigious civil award, Sitara-e-Imtiaz, by the Government of Pakistan.

In their joint message, the APCAA leadership expressed immense pride that Mr. Sarhadi is among the founding leaders of APCAA. They acknowledged his tireless efforts for the Customs Agents fraternity, noting that he has always raised their voice and worked for their welfare at every relevant forum. Owing to his decades of experience, commitment, and guidance, Mr. Sarhadi is regarded as an Ustad (mentor) in the customs and clearing fraternity, a status earned through his remarkable leadership and mentorship.

Chairman Mr. Arshad Khurshid emphasized that this award is a reflection of Mr. Sarhadi’s lifelong services for the promotion of cross-border trade, exports, and the customs clearing sector. Senior leader Mr. Qamar ul Islam further praised Mr. Sarhadi’s intellectual contributions through his writings and books, which have provided knowledge and inspiration to the trade community across the country.

The APCAA leadership stated that the conferment of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz is a well-deserved honor, not only for Mr. Sarhadi but also for the entire Customs Agents community, as it highlights the significance of their role in Pakistan’s economy. They prayed for his long life, good health, and continued success in serving the nation’s trade and business sectors.
