ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has rejected bail pleas of PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi in two cases. Bail petitions came up for hearing before ATC led by judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain. Lawyer Ali Bokhari appeared on behalf of Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Ali Bokhari requested court either summon Shah Mehmood or extend his bail. This court has sent Shah Mehmood in jail. Judge should do justice by seeing other side of wall. Judge inquired what point of police ill intention is in this case. Counsel said arguments were fully prepared in previous three dates. We are not seeking some extraordinary relief. We are seeking exemption from today’s attendance.

Prosecutor prayed court to dismiss bail plea saying Supreme Court has made attendance of accused compulsory in bail before arrest case. Court has dismissed bail of Chairman PTI.

Court rejected bail applications of Shah Mehmood Qureshi in two cases being not persuaded. ATC Judge reserved judgment for some time after hearing arguments of respondents.
