Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa reached Supreme Court and refused to receive guard of honour. Justice Qazi Faez Isa has directed police to fulfill their duties whole-heartedly and refused to receive guard of honour.

Chief Justice Justice Qazi Faez Isa was welcomed by staff on his arrival at Supreme Court. Speaking to staff Chief Justice said that today I have many meetings and there is full court. I need your cooperation. Guard of honour was to be presented to Chief Justice by Islamabad Police. Police also gave guard of honour to former Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa reached Supreme Court without protocol. According to media reports CJP Justice Qazi Faez Isa has refused to take protocol and car as Chief Justice. Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa reached Supreme Court in 18cc normal vehicle. Chief Justice has been given same security as of fellow judges.
