KARACHI: In a significant move to curb unauthorized construction, SSP Central Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui has initiated a comprehensive operation against builders involved in illicit building activities in District Central.

The operation, conducted under the directives of DG SBCA, aims to tackle the growing issue of illegal construction in the region. According to details, several builders, including Kashif Anda, Owais Mubarak, Zahid Kala, Faizan Beater, Sajjad Dunbah, and others, have been apprehended for their involvement in unauthorized construction. Police came into action after the raids that took place at the residences of these builders in Gulberg, Nazimabad, and North Nazimabad areas.

Moreover, the ongoing operation will persist, targeting all builders engaged in illegal construction activities in the mentioned areas. SSP Central has assured that no exemptions will be granted to those involved in unauthorized construction and strict action will be taken as per the law. SSP Central, along with SHOs and their teams, is actively participating in the operation, demonstrating a strong commitment to enforcing regulations and maintaining law and order.

  This initiative reflects the authorities’ determination to address the issue of unauthorized construction and ensure compliance with building regulations. The operation aims to curb unauthorized construction, enforce building regulations, protect the interests of residents and stakeholders and maintaining the integrity of urban development.
