ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commenting on new damning audio leak allegedly featuring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman said that it had “totally busted narrative” whereby incumbent government was a “product of conspiracy”.

“Imran Niazi wasted five months of nation by concocting lies and propaganda about his successor government, however, his own audio leaks exposed his fraudulence,” said PM Shehbaz in his address at foundation-stone laying ceremony of Bara Kahu Bypass project.

Imran Khan “called politicians as traitors, however, in reality, it was he who betrayed nation”, added PM “Imran’s lies about an ‘imported government’ are in fact a conspiracy against entire nation,” he said, stressing need for people to understand reality. Expressing his commitment to “rebuild” and develop country, he said his government was steadfast in dealing with immense challenges after previous government pushed country to brink of economic collapse. PM's remarks follow a series of audio leaks linked to Prime Minister's Office, latest of which featured a conversation between Imran and Azam Khan, his principal secretary.
