ISLAMABAD: A Sessions Court Islamabad has granted post-arrest bail to journalist Shahid Aslam in case related to leaking tax records of former Army Chief Gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa. As per details, special judge central Azam Khan heard bail plea filed by Journalist Shahid Aslam.

Petition stated that case is registered in FIA's Anti-COrruption Circle in matter of leaking tax record details of former COAS.

Despite not being named in case, I have been arrested in case. He urged court to grant bail to him in case.

Upon listening to arguments, court accepted post-arrest bail plea against Rs 50,000 surety bonds.

Earlier, Federal Investigation Agency's Anti-Corruption Circle recorded statements of three suspects, arrested in connection with income tax data leak of former Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa.
